OK...I am new to the neighborhood. Built a lovely house in Bayshore,
and the last few weeks my water is turning everything orange. The
toilets are especially foul. I have a water softener, whole house
water filter and am desperate. Anyone got any advice?

All I know is this is due to a high concentration of iron in the water
combined with a low pH level. A salt water filter should be sufficient
to resolve this issue. Some people speculate that a deep well (over
100 feet) will pull from a different that has better water but I
haven't seen proof.
