Thereafter, he released three follow-up albums for the label: The Understanding (2000), M.A.D.E. (2003), and 534 (2005). Coming of Age and The Understanding were both certified gold by the RIAA. In between the release of The Understanding and M.A.D.E., he took a three-year hiatus, in which he took care of his older brother, who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.[7] 534 was named after the building number of the housing project in which he and Jay-Z grew up, and became the first release from the "new" Roc-A-Fella, referring to Jay-Z becoming the president of Def Jam Recordings prior to its release.[8] A song from the album, titled "Dear Summer", is performed solely by Jay-Z and refers to what he called the time of the year in which he would drop a classic album or single every year for eight straight years, and how he had to metaphorically leave "her" (Summer). "Dear Summer" would mark Jay-Z's first song since beginning his brief "retirement" in late 2003. 534 also contains one of the first recordings by Def Jam labelmate turned international star, Rihanna, who featured on the song "The One".[9][10]

Bleek admitted he foresaw the Roc-A-Fella era coming to an end, revealing that Jay-Z once told him "the scissors...they coming," in reference to an impending split. The 45-year-old rapper also accused Beanie Sigel and Freeway of trying to play both sides with Dame and Jay, while also reassuring co-host N.O.R.E. that Bleek and his former labelmates are currently on good terms.

In the eyes of many, Bleek was still remaining one hit away from success. In an attempt to solve this, he released his fourth album, 534, on May 17, 2005. The album's title is a direct reference to where he grew up, located in the Marcy Projects of Brooklyn. The album featured the Swizz Beatz-produced hit single "Like That." This would be the only hit single from the album as it suffered in sales becoming his lowest-selling album to date not even certifying. There was a second single released from the album. It was "Infatuated," featuring Murder Inc. crooner, Boxie. The album featured production from Swizz Beatz and Irv Gotti among others. 534 also featured Jay-Z's single, "Dear Summer."

In fall 2005, Memphis Bleek told MTV.com that he was recording an album that should be released in early 2006 featuring such artists as upcoming R&B singer Coya. He is thinking of naming his next album The Process, and this would effectively be a make or break album. In an interview for MTV he said: "I want to do an album that's through the roof," he said about his next project. "I want to do a classic album. I feel that if this album I'm not recording is a classic, I'm not even gonna put it out. I have to do it bigger than anybody has ever done it. I have to make a good record this time, not just talking-junk records. It has to be deep. I want people to pick my album up and learn something." The interview also said that Diddy and singer Gerald Levart both have hits for the rapper. [1]. He has since announced production from Akon, Cool & Dre, Just Blaze, and others. In December 2007, the first single, "Get Ya Money Up," (featuring Dre) was released. The second single is "Let It Out" with Roc-A-Fella labelmate Uncle Murda.

From sexual misconduct accusations, to the Capitol riots and becoming the first commander-in-chief to be impeached (twice), Former President Trump is no stranger to headlines. But what nobody may have seen coming was Barbra Streisand quoting Memphis Bleek to diss The Donald.
