I just finished watching the what do all the numbers mean video and I have two questions for you- you suggest using a 10 dent heddle for 8/2 cottolin and indicated you should double the ends- when you said 2x 10 dent- do you mean use two ten dent reeds? I think I just figured it out! You mean use two 10 dent reed or double up the ends on one 10 dent reed- did I get that right? Also- I only have the one 7.5 reed that came with my rigid heddle loom (Ashford) would you suggest purchasing a 10 dent read next? Have a great day thanks!
Well, the single heddle is really advantageous because not everyone who wants to double their sett has a second heddle of the exact same size in their weaving toolkit. It is quick and easy to learn and means that when you get to the weaving, you just weave as normal with the one heddle. When doubling your sett with one heddle, you thread holes and slots at the same time as direct warping, completely negating the usual requirement to thread holes separately.
I finally understand how to double your warp (thank you) but have some questions:
1. How do you tie up after taking it off the (direct) warping peg?
2. If you have a long warp and you use the warping board how would you warp on?
3. If using a table loom (4-Shaft) and using the warping board would you double up the yarn and how would that look?

Patients and methods: An international randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was conducted in patients with completely resected IB to IIIA NSCLC whose tumors expressed EGFR protein by immunohistochemistry or EGFR amplification by fluorescence in situ hybridization. Patients were assigned 2:1 to erlotinib 150 mg once per day or placebo for 2 years. Stratification factors were stage, histology, previous adjuvant chemotherapy, smoking status, EGFR amplification status, and country. The primary end point was disease-free survival (DFS); key secondary end points were overall survival (OS) and DFS and OS in patients whose tumors had EGFR-activating mutations (EGFRm-positive).

Goofing around youtube recently when I found a pretty rare recording of Luke Kelly singing Macalpines fussiliers at ,I think ,a folk club somewhere in England in the sixties, what made my ears prick up was his use of double C tuning, and his playing is not too bad either, check it out, I had no idea that the folk revival in sixties England sounded this cool ! more used to endless ballads about mining disasters with 63 verses and a finger in the ear, many folk clubs here in the UK are still like that . (disclaimer; not all of them !)
well I guess you can tell its Saturday and I am at a loose end waiting till I have to go to tonights gig ! I agree that its great to know so many Dubs fans exist out there, keep talking ! I just had a cruise round youtube and found that on closer inspection Luke was a clear devotee of double C , check out Raglan Road for example, capo'ed for D major he plays that out of double C. I can see the attraction for a singer too, easier chord fingerings, especially since the band rarely moved out of three chord stuff, all very excellent, its amazing what you pick up from the hangout, I only heard of double C a week ago and set to learning Dixie, now that tune must have been written for this tuning since it sounds so good played that way.
Dixie ? I think that's the one I've been learning just, but I've been doing it in G. I will give it a go in double C. though I'll capo up to double D. it's too much of a stretch on my 27" scale Tubaphone.
Marian retains the same look as the prequel, although this time as a fully playable character.[4] By the time she and the Lee brothers arrived at River City, she got kidnapped by robots. However, this time, Marian became displeased of herself and tired of being a damsel in distress for multiple times. Ultimately, while spending her time in a prison of the robot gang's hideout, Marian worked out her body and did a soul searching to finally be able to defend herself without the Lee brothers' aid. As she finally escapes with her own hand before the Lee brothers rescue her, both Marian and Lee brothers made their decision to stay at River City, where the latter decided to open the dojo while Marian doubles her life as a local public shopkeeper, and secretly a paranormal crime investigator. Surprisingly, some of their former enemies, such as Abobo and Skullmageddon, are also staying there.
