BayesMap Software - License Manager Update

Please read this if you are a BayesMap client with an active subscription, or if you are currently using a demo license:

We are migrating to a new BayesMap license server.

If your license@client or password have changed, you should receive an email from us soon.

In any case, you need to add this to the option file or environment variables, and keep the lines with RLM as a fallback in case of problems during the transition:

BAYESMAPUSER = license@client

BAYESMAPPW   = password

You have until May 10th, 2026 to complete this transition.
Please use the latest beta versions (StripAlign 2.28b and WavEx 2.0b, build 260415) during this period.

The RLM server will remain available as a fallback in case of issues during this transition period.

The new license server is located in Switzerland.

For US clients, we are setting up a US-hosted server. If needed, please contact us for details.

We noticed there is still significant activity on the RLM license server. 

This server will shut down any time now (it was scheduled to stop on May 10). 

Users who haven't set up their new license credentials will no longer be able to run any of our software. 

Please also make sure to update the binaries, as new versions were released since the last notification: 

• StripAlign 2.28 (04/23/2026) is now the official version and 2.29b (05/13/2056) is recommended even if there are only minor bug fixes
• WavEx 2.0 (05/09/2026) is the latest official build and fixes an important issue of the initial 2.0 release

The license server no longer allows running WavEx 2.0b. It will stop allowing StripAlign 2.28b after May 20.
