[Bayer's Melon Farm Market Manager]

It's shaping up to be a gorgeous day to visit your favorite open-air farm market, before the summer temps really start to climb!

We just got in another shipment of large seeded red watermelons. They're big and they're so good, and they (much like the seedless sweet gems), are in short supply. So make sure you get here early and that you don't go home without at least one of them!

We still have some sweet large cantaloupe and lots of stringless beans, new potatoes, slicing, pickling, and some burpless cucumbers. We also have our full white peach display up and running again, flanked by a beautiful sea of S. Carolina blueberries. 

We also have lots of bright white cauliflower, zucchini, beets, broccoli, bell peppers, and an awesome display of different kinds of head lettuce from our friends at Patchwork Gardens, including iceberg, romaine, bib, butterhead, and a cool new fire lettuce!

Bayer's is beginning to wind down its Big Plant Sale and now all vegetable plants are buy one, get one free including every variety of tomato, pepper, melon, and eggplant plant we have.
