紧急通知！八年级升九年级 数学分班考试

8年级的学生正在面临选课。今年， Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) 对要上9年级的学生的选课和往年有很大不同。

9年级学生数学学什么，不再像往年根据老师推荐，而是每个学生要参加分级考试 placement test。

Cupertino Union学区和 Sunnyvale学区将用Mathematics Diagnostic Testing Project (MDTP) 网络考试作为数学的分级考试。

The test date for the MDTP at Miller Middle School is as follows:

Grade 8 MDTP Placement Test:  March 20, 2014

通常，8年级上 Algebra I  的，在9年级上 Geometry。8年级上Geometry 的在9年级上 Algebra II。

如果8年级数学程度不错的话（得到 A or B), 可以考虑这样选课：8年级是Algebra I的，9年级学 Geometry Enriched；8年级学 Geometry的，9年级学 Algebra II/Trig。
