Winter USAPhO F=MA Training Camp

Planning on taking the USAPho F=ma exam on Feb 15th, 2025?  SpringLight’s December and USAPhO F=ma training camp will help you prepare!

This USAPhO F=ma Camp is specially organized to intensely train students for the F=ma test, providing a total of 10 practice tests combined with lectures after each test (4.5 hours for each camp day).

In the first session of each camp day 4:00-6:30 pm, students will work on one previous real F=ma test and optional practice problems, followed by the second session 4:00-6:30 pm, a lecture about every problem in the test. The instructor will emphasize the important knowledge and concepts related to the test.

All of these efforts will help the students undergo intense practice on the F=ma tests, combined with lectures to help the students understand physics concepts in depth and effectively improve their abilities to solve F=ma problems. Through this class, students can maximize their chances of success on the F=ma test next January.

Instructor:

Mr. Felix Huang has taught math, computer science, and physics to high school students in learning centers in the Bay Area for over 10 years. He has helped many students pass the AMC 10, 12, and AIME. He also helped several students to advance on USACO Bronze, Silver, Gold to Platinum. In computer science students to advance on USACO Bronze, Silver, Gold to Platinum. He is passionate about helping students overcome their barriers and reach challenging goals. He helped students gain profound understanding on the math, computer science, and physics. He works as software engineer in multiple areas including Java, C++, Python programming, backend data, and optimization problems. As background, he received a M.S. in Math from U of Washington, M.S. in Computer Science from U of Arizona, and a B.S. in Math from National Taiwan University.
