Python, Java and C++ are for students who don't have any programming background.

AP Computer Science A Test Prep: Students have some experience in Java, to prepare for the AP CS A test in this May.

USACO Bronze: has some experience at Java or C++programming and going to take Bronze test.
USACO Silver: Good at solving Bronze problems and going to take Silver test to pass to Gold level.
USACO Gold: Good at solving Silver problems and going to take Gold test to pass to Platinum level.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our classes are online via Zoom.
Students are encouraged to interact with the instructor during class.

I highly recommend Dr. Huang to those who wants to achieve high! In three months, he helped my daughter,  Ali, bring up her AP Computer Science score from C to A and AP scored 5. Starting in the summer, Dr. Huang encouraged her and worked with her on USACO.  In December 2020, Ali won USACO Bronze competition and achieved Silver level. It was his dedication and great passion in teaching that inspired Ali. From “mommy, I don’t have any talent in computer science” to “ I am thinking about computer science major”, I can’t thank Dr. Huang and SpringLight enough.

Mr. Felix Huang has taught computer science, math, and physics for high school students in learning centers in Bay Area for 10+ years. He has helped many students to advance from USACO Bronze, Silver, or Gold to Platinum. He is passionate about helping students overcome their barriers and reach challenging goals. He helped students gain profound understanding on these subjects. He works as software engineer in multiple areas including Java, C++, Python programming, backend data, and optimization problems. Mr. Huang received his MS in Math from U of Washington, MS in Computer Science from U of Arizona, and BS in Math from National Taiwan University.
