Why ACT:

Standardized tests like the ACT have been growing in importance for college admission, with more and more colleges recently reinstating their standardized testing requirements and other formerly test-optional schools likely to follow.

All colleges value the SAT and ACT equally. However, with the SAT moving to all-digital testing, the ACT is easier to take, prepare for, and score well in.

Why SpringLight:

At SpringLight, we’ve specialized in helping students conquer the challenges of the ACT since 2012, particularly in the Science, English, and Reading sections. Through targeted and guided practice, we've consistently seen significant score improvements, with many students achieving impressive scores of 34, 35, and 36.

What this class covers:

In this six week course, students will attend weekly lessons on grammar, science topics, reading skills including effective strategies for acing these sections of the exam. At home, students will practice using both targeted questions and real ACT exams.

Extra benefit of the class:

These grammar, critical thinking, and reading comprehension skills will serve students well at school, AP exams, and future careers.

Class is taught live over zoom by Mrs. Webster.

Practice: at home or SpringLight office. We offer free practice tests ($45 value, but free to students in the prep class) with the real released test paper from ACT. (We check scores for students.)
