USAPhO F=ma Enhancement Class

There are still more than 6 weeks to the USAPhO F=ma exam, so we are offering this 6-session enhancement class to instruct students so they keep working to prepare for the F=ma test.

Before each class: We will ask students to finish one real previous test which hasn’t been assigned or used in our winter camp. Students should finish it before the class and email Dr. Yang back with their answers as well as give feedback on which questions they felt were difficult and/or confusing in that test. Also, they may bring up any other questions which they are eager to have answered. During each lecture: I’ll talk about the questions based on majority students’ requests. Each class, we will focus specifically on new knowledge, concepts, and skills tested in latest F=ma real exams.
Since 2018, the F=ma exam has introduced some new concepts and skills in the tests, which we will make an extra effort to cover. After each class: Students will be assigned additional homework to practice and prepare with a practice exam for the next class.
Through these practices, students are given further opportunities to enhance their ability to solve F=ma exam problems with the hope that students can maximize their opportunities to succeed in the F=ma test on Feb 18th.

Since 2016 spring, Dr. Yang's AP Physics classes have been very successful; most of our students, both on-site and online, scored a 5 on their AP Exams including AP physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C Mechanics, and AP Physics C E/M. Most of SAT II physics students who told us their score received 800.

Onsite and online classes are available at the same time. Students can interact with teacher during the class online. Afterwards, students can watch the class video at any time.

SpringLight is a WASC accredited education organization. We have successfully provided the USAPhO training for more than 6 years. Around 30% to 60% of our students have qualified for the semi-final each year.
Our semifinalist students also qualified as finalists, received gold medal, silver medal, bronze medal and honorable mentions.

课前学生需要完成一套真题（12月10天F=ma冬令营每个学生做了20套题之外的），发给杨老师需要解答的难点或任何其他和F=ma相关的物理问题。在课堂上杨老师将根据大多数学生的需求进行解答，教授F=ma 的考试技巧，并涵盖自2018年起物理奥赛F=ma 导入的新的考试概念和题型。
课后杨老师会给学生更多的练习题作为作业。
