I don't really understand your question.
 
On current versions of windows, use taskkill.exe to close tasks.

You could:
Run -> cmd -> type: taskkill /F /IM SlickRun.exe /T (or taskkill /F /IM sr.exe /T - if sr.exe NOT SlickRun.exe is running)
