Big shout-out and thanks for keeping Slick Run up to date!  You rock!

I use Slick Run constantly, it is the second thing I install on a fresh OS (the first one is dropbox, where I keep a backup of my keywords and ini settings for SR)

Seriously, computers would be too painful without it, thank you for making our lifes a lot more pleasant :-)

Hi Eric,

I am seeing a weird problem with latest version of SlickRun. My magic world file size was 215 kb consisting of 9301 lines. Whenever I quit the slickrun, the file size reduces to 164 KB consisting of 5806 lines. This has been happening continuously everytime I exit slickrun. Please check if this is bug or some settings which is causing the issue.

Anyways thanks for this wonderful application.

My guess is that you're not losing any MagicWords in this process?

For performance and reliability reasons, the new build of SlickRun doesn't write the values for UseRunAs, RunAsAny, Disable32BitRedir for each MagicWord unless they're different than the default values. This makes the file smaller, faster to load, and slightly less likely to suffer if there's corruption on your disk.

I compared the two files and indeed the difference is only in UseRunAs, RunAsAny & Disable32BitRedir only.

Hi !

I don't know if this is related to the last build, but here's a little issue : Everytime my Pc reboots (I have slickrun set to launch on start), the display is messed up.
The reason is that the custom appearance string looses the very first and very last "

Here's an exemple, in the IDLE section I have :
"Week" %wk1% "| freemem" %fm% "| batt" %pow% "|"

When it boots, it changes to :
Week" %wk1% "| freemem" %fm% "| batt" %pow% "|


which messup the display entirly. Am I missing something ?

Amusingly, no, this isn't related to the latest version; in fact, the change I made to the latest version would've fixed this had I made it to this area of the code too.

Thanks for the bug, I'll clean it up for the next build.

For what it's worth, if you add a leading and trailing character that are NOT " (e.g. use .) it should workaround the problem for now.
