2012 Precinct Delegate Filings Now Being Accepted

Good morning. Looks like its going to be another hot one.

I just received an email from Cindy Luczak, the county clerk, saying that she is able to accept affidavits of identity for precinct delegate for the August 2012 primary. The form is available as a PDF online at the Secretary of State's website: http://www.michigan.gov/documents/Aff-ID_Precnt_139901_7.pdf

I'll be completing my apportionment of precinct delegates shortly and expect there to be anywhere from 260 to 300 openings in Bay County. The goal for this year is to have at least half of those openings filled. If you have friends who would like to become more involved in the Party, this is a perfect way to start.

P.S.- The next meeting of the Bay County Republican Executive Committee will be next Monday evening, July 25 at 7 p.m. at Midland St. Jack's, 605 E. Midland St., Bay City. We will be filling some vacancies and electing a new secretary at this meeting so everyone's attendance is critical.
