Precinct Delegates

President Lincoln recognized the value of local politics. Precinct delegates are the backbone of the Republican Party and we need you! Precinct delegate is very valuable volunteer position. Precinct delegates are elected at the August primary and you only need one vote to win. To become a precinct delegate, you need to file an Affidavit of Identity with the County Clerk (the affidavit is attached). The County Clerk will mail you a copy of how your name will appear on the ballot for your approval.

As a precinct delegate, you have an opportunity to assist with the grassroots efforts of elections and will be a key player in taking back our country in November. If you are concerned about the Michigan Supreme Court and the various elected education boards, you will love the opportunity to vote at the state convention in the fall.

Bay County has 273 precinct delegate slots to fill (the apportionment plan is attached). If you decide to run for precinct delegate, recruit a friend to run with you too.
