With spring beginning next Sunday, this is the final winter edition of the Bay County Bulletin.

A couple calendar notes to make you aware of. First of all, Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley will be in Cass City at the Northwood Meadows, 6086 Beechwood Drive, this Friday at 10 a.m. for a fundraiser with state senator Mike Green. Next, the next Bay County GOP meeting is next Wednesday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at BARTS, 804 E. Midland St. This is a meeting of the county committee which consists of all the precinct delegates in addition to the members of the Executive Committee.

Finally, the Lincoln Day calendar is starting to fill up. The Sanilac GOP Lincoln Day is this Friday, March 18, at Benchwarmers Restaurant, 440 W. Sanilac Rd., Sandusky. Cost is $50 per person and are available from Bill Dixion at (810) 648-5282. The keynote speaker is Secretary of State Ruth Johnson. Second, the annual Midland GOP breakfast is Monday, May 2 at 7:30 a.m. at The H Hotel in Midland. Further details will be released soon.
