Happy Monday everyone.
I was alerted to a bill which has been introduced to implement the provisions of ObamaCare in Michigan. Senate Bill 693 was introduced on 22 September and was referred to the Committee on Health Policy, chaired by Senator Jim Marleau of northern Oakland County who is also the primary sponsor of the legislation. The bill will create the MiHealth marketplace, the state health exchange mandated by ObamaCare. Senator Roger Kahn of Saginaw County is one of the co-sponsors of the bill. I encourage you to contact Senators Marleau and Kahn and the rest of the committee and tell them to kill this bill; to paraphrase Barney Fife, "nip it in the bud".
