Definition of a Tax Increase: Obama 2012 Today marks “Tax Day,” and no matter what Pres. Obama, Sen. Stabenow and other Democrats say during an election year, the facts don’t change. Their only economic policy consistently involves raising taxes on hard working middle class taxpayers to pay for their runaway spending spree. President Obama’s proposed 2013 budget will raise taxes on 27% of U.S. households. Tax increases like these slow economic growth and discourage job creation. We need real tax reform – not more excuses for increased government spending. It’s time for a new direction.
