Meet and Greet with Mike Bouchard

The Saginaw County Young Republicans will host Mike Bouchard, candidate for Governor, Friday, July 30 at 1:00 pm at the Saginaw Country Club, 4465 Gratiot in Saginaw.  For more information, you can check it out on Facebook.

 

Beach Party Fundraiser for Rick Wilson

Rick Wilson, candidate for the U.S. House from the Fifth District, will hold a beach party fundraiser on Wednesday, July 28 from 6:00 pm until 8 at State Lanes, 5707 State St. in Saginaw.  Wear your beach clothes.  Suggested donation is $25.

Ken Horn’s Annual Shroast

Representative Ken Horn will hold his Annual Shroast this Thursday, July 29th.  The event includes a pork dinner and beverages, and will be from 5:00-8:00pm at the Shields Men's Club Grounds, 605 S. Roger Kahn’s Penny-for-a-Twenty Fundraiser

Senator Roger Kahn's 8th Annual Penny-for-a-Twenty Fundraiser will be on August 4 at Roethke Park, 400 Leddy Rd, just south of Gratiot Rd, in Thomas Township.  The event runs from 5:30pm to 7:30 and you can get more information by calling  517-373-1760.

 

Town Hall Meeting in Grand Blanc

Rick Wilson is hosting a town hall tonight, Monday, July 26 at the Genesys Conference Center in Grand Blanc from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Learn more about Rick's ideas for reducing the size and scope of government.

Michigan Republican Party Website

If you haven’t already, check out the Michigan GOP website: www.migop.org.  It has been updated and refreshed with a new look and more information for you to be great activists and supporters of the Party.  In particular, they’ve launched the 10 in ‘10 program for precinct delegates, a list of ten action items for each precinct delegate (and other supporters for that matter) to accomplish.  That can be found at 10in10.migop.org.  There’s a video clip on the 10 in ’10 program at www.baycountygop.org.

 

Meeting Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 27, is our next meeting at 7:00 pm at BARTS (formerly Lumber Baron’s) on Midland St. in Bay City.  I just received word yesterday that Senator Jason Allen, candidate for the U.S. House from the First District may well be joining us.  This is our final meeting before the August primary and also the final meeting before the August county convention.
