Happy Monday everyone.

A couple calendar notes for you as usual.

First, the Bay County Republican Summer Picnic is quickly approaching. It's next Tuesday, August 23 at 5 p.m. at Bigelow Park in the pavilion behind the Boys and Girls Club. Tickets are $10 and are available from any member of the Executive Committee.

Next, the next meeting of the Executive Committee is next Monday, August 22 at 7 p.m. at Midland St. Jack's, 605 E. Midland St., Bay City.

We had an excellent time at the Bay County Fair and thanks to everyone who came out and helped. A very special thanks to Matt Lance who was there all day every day for five days and to state senator Mike Green for donating so much excellent material to hand out. The U.S. Constitutions were a big hit.

Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Bill Schuette's upcoming barbecue on Monday, September 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Midland County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $50 per family and I have them available.

I think that's about it. However, it is still early on a Monday morning, so if I missed anything, please let me know.

Aaron
