Fans of Pixar meet circus spectacle with monster laundry, dancing pants, magic portals, and endless laughs.
Oakland-based independent circus show LaunderLand returns this March following overwhelming audience support for its 2024 debut. After a sold-out run and enthusiastic community response, the imaginative production is relaunching with even more magic, mayhem, and high-flying spectacle.
Set inside a whimsical laundromat where the washing machines have minds of their own, LaunderLand tells the story of a greedy boss who tries to squeeze every last coin from her customers—only to have the laundromat fight back. What follows is a cartoon-meets-circus adventure featuring monster laundry, dancing pants, secret portals, and nonstop laughter.
Inspired by the playful spirit of Pixar, Fantasia, and the storytelling of Roald Dahl, the show blends giant puppets, dazzling aerials, juggling, magic, unicycling, stilting, and physical comedy into a joyful, high-energy experience.
For ages 4 and up, LaunderLand delivers big laughs, jaw-dropping skills, and unforgettable moments that bring adults and kids together.
Drea “SoulFool” Ives, creator, performer and director is a Bay Area–based circus-comedy artist, director, and producer whose work transforms everyday spaces into playful, immersive worlds through clowning, puppetry, and physical theater.

Shannon (award-winning clown and dancer), Kendra Ferguson (roller-skating clown), with original live music and sound effects by Kyle Schmolze. ##
