DESCRIPTION:
P.T. Barnum, the Greatest Showman on Earth, combines razzle-dazzle with charm and brass to sell “humbug” to cheering crowds. A joyful and moving musical portrait of the nineteenth century’s greatest show-biz legend, BARNUM is a colorful, dynamic spectacle with heart. Cy Coleman and Michael Stewart’s rousing score includes “There’s a Sucker Born Every Minute,” “Join the Circus,” “The Colors of My Life,” and “Come Follow The Band.”

What to Prepare:
16 to 32 bars of a song from the Broadway or musical theater canon, preferably in the style of the show, with sheet music. Please no Tapes or CDs. Sheet music is strongly preferred, but if you do not have sheet music, be prepared to sing a cappella (without musical accompaniment). The choreographer will be teaching a very short dance combination, so please come in shoes that you can move in. Please bring a non-returnable headshot or snapshot (school photos are great).
