Audition notice for Sweet Thunder Shakespeare's training and ensemble-building program. 

To frame it clearly: this is not a casting notice for actors looking for the next paid show. It’s a training process aimed at forming a longer-term artistic community, with a repertory-company model as one of the goals. The performance component is part of the training structure; it is not “pay to be cast in a show.” Tuition is $500, which goes straight to teaching artists, with scholarships available to anyone who auditions successfully and needs this support.

Dedicated beginners are also very much welcome. The right fit might be a professional actor who is keen to learn how to do this work, but it is also someone coming to acting later, or an artist from a related discipline — someone dedicated, open, generous, and interested in developing a well-rounded technique.
