Stage Manager Needed – A Winter's Tale
Half Moon Bay Shakespeare Company

Half Moon Bay Shakespeare Company is seeking a Stage Manager for our upcoming outdoor production of William Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale.

Rehearsals begin: August 2, 2026
Performances: September 26 – October 25, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday matinees)

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working collaboratively with a passionate cast and creative team. Previous stage management experience is preferred, but we also welcome applications from assistant stage managers or experienced theatre artists who are ready to take on the role.

Responsibilities include:

Attending rehearsals and performances
Taking blocking and rehearsal notes
Maintaining the prompt book
Coordinating communication with the cast and production team
Calling the show during performances
Helping ensure rehearsals and performances run smoothly

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative, supportive company producing Shakespeare in a beautiful outdoor setting.
