Roles: CHARACTER BREAKDOWN –
Sasha 1: girl with a deadline, child of Russian immigrants; Reads as 10-year-old
Sasha 2: girl with a deadline, child of Russian immigrants; Reads as 10-year-old
Sam: cab driver/student of dentistry, West Indian; Reads in 20s
Trudi: businesswoman with time management issues; Reads in 40s
John: wheelchair-bound Brooklyn bridge buff; Reads in 90s
Talidia: mother with a lot of laundry, Puerto-Rican; Reads in 40s
Singer/Songwriter: woman stuck on a song
Ensemble 1 (Shadow figure 1, letter carrier)
Ensemble 2 (Shadow figure 2, pizza man)
Ensemble 3 (Bridge worker)
Ensemble 4 (Civilian)
Ensemble 5 (Washington Roebling)

PLEASE NOTE: the younger actor playing Sasha may be double cast.
The character breakdown and doubling above for Ensemble members 1-6 are just an example; the roles may be divided in a different manner.
AUDITIONS: Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 12:30pm-4:30pm, at Town Hall Theatre, 3535 School Street, Lafayette, CA 94549.
CALLBACKS: Callbacks are by invitation and will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 6:30-10:00pm, at Town Hall Theatre, 3535 School Street, Lafayette, CA 94549.
REHEARSALS: The rehearsal period begins mid-January, 2019 and runs through February 27, 2019. Rehearsals are generally held Mon-Friday evenings, 7-10pm, and Saturdays, 2-5pm, at Town Hall Theatre. Tech weekend is scheduled as 10am-10pm, Feb. 23 & 24, 2019.
Compensation/Stipends: Stipends are available to help defray travel and other expenses.

PRODUCTION DATES: BROOKLYN BRIDGE will be performed Feb. 28 through March 23, 2019 and March 7 and March 14 at 10am (14 performances, including 2 Previews). Performances will be at 8:00pm Th-Sat., at 2:00pm on Sundays and at 10:00am on Wed., March 7 and March 14. PLEASE NOTE: there are 2 daytime matinees March 7 and 14 and two Sunday matinees on March 10 and 17.
