Hillbarn Theatre is accepting non-AEA video submissions for the role of “Debater” in our upcoming production of What The Constitution Means To Me directed by Susannah Martin. 


Rehearsals begin December 30th, 2025 (this role will not be called to every rehearsal) 

Techs January 16th-18th, 2026

Previews January 22nd, 2026

Opens January 23rd, 2026

Closes February 8th, 2026


REHEARSALS:  Tuesday - Friday from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, Saturday/Sunday from 12pm to 6pm


PERFORMANCES:  Thursday @ 8pm (Preview), Fridays @ 8pm, Saturdays @ 2pm & 8pm, Sundays @ 2pm (with possible 7pm expansion performances on Sunday evenings). 


This is a VOLUNTEER ROLE for rehearsals and performances.


Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory is dedicated to championing diverse voices which celebrate our shared humanity and challenge us to honor it. This work is enshrined in a legacy of artists, faculty, staff, and students who have over decades advocated for and borne the emotional toll of this work. We are looking for female-presenting and/or nonbinary performers age 14-17 for this role. 


We are accepting video submissions until December 7th at 11:59pm. Please email your headshot and resume to cas...@hillbarntheatre.org to receive the audition sides (2 monologues from the show) we would like you to film.
