About The Play
Climate change or environmental disaster? If the firefish keep disappearing, life as we know it on the planet will be destroyed! Ten-year-old Ayesha has courage, intelligence, creativity, and a complete lack of caution. Even so, the mission that Shekina, Queen of the Seas, has charged her with may be slightly out of her league! Surrounded by cryptic clues involving Galileo, Gaudi’s Casa Batlló, Stephen Hawking’s theories and the science of wormholes, Ayesha undertakes a perilous quest across the world. With naught but a snarky surfboarding snail as a sidekick, she’ll need to be as bold as the sea in order to save the world!

Audition date and time:
In-person auditions will be held on Saturday, May 30th from 9am - 11am at The EnActarium.
If needed, callbacks will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd from 6pm -7pm at The EnActarium.

When you arrive, enter through the front of the building and make your way back to suite 183. If you have a headshot please bring it with you. Please fill out the following form prior to your audition. Plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before your scheduled audition time.

If you cannot attend auditions in person, we invite you to submit a video audition through the link above.
For the audition, please prepare a 1 minute monologue of your choosing.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals will take place from June 15th to August 9th, with tech week beginning on August 3.
Rehearsals are flexible at the moment, but will tentatively be scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays 2pm - 5pm. Times and dates will be based on cast availability and are subject to change.

MUM: Ayesha’s Mum, hedge fund manger
DAD: Ayesha’s stay at home Dad, former Hedge fund manager
CONCIERGE: Snooty concierge at upscale Hotel in Rimini
AOIFE: Talking Dolphin
NAV: Shapeshifting alien. Appears as tuna, spider, raven, teenage girl
SUV: Shapeshifting alien. Appears as tuna, spider, raven, teenage girl
AIT: Talking Octopus
CARO: Talking sophisticated snail who hates slugs
AUNTY DINI: Mum’s sister. Prissy and opinionated.
XANDER: 16 year old boy. Ayesha’s cousin. Guitarist and video game buff.
RECEPTIONIST: Stephen Hawking’s receptionist.
STEPHEN HAWKING: Famous scientist
JEWELLER: Shopkeeper of dubious character
JEWELLER’S ASSISTANT: Shopkeeper’s assistant also of dubious character
TASHI: Tibetan Monk, Gyatso Lama’s right-hand monk
GYATSO LAMA: Spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists
THE FORCE: Supreme alien being from another galaxy
7 FLAMES: Alien beings. Each a different color of the rainbow
AYNSOF: Alien being. The 7th Flame. Violet.
