Bay Area Educational theater is seeking a Music Director for their upcoming production of The Music Man.. 

About Bay Area Educational Theater Co (ETC):

We are a performing arts training program located in San Carlos, CA that offers specialty theatre camps and fully-produced productions for all ages 6-Adult. ETC is proud to employ local teaching artists to provide high-quality experiences for our students.  

This production of The Music Man is open for students aged 6 through Adult

Music Director Schedule

Auditions:

Sat Jan 24 - 11:00 - 4:00 

Sun Jan 25 - 12:00 - 5:00  

Audition/ Call Back:

Sat Jan 31 - 10:00 - 4:00

Rehearsals Dates 

Feb 1 - Apr 4

Sat  - 12:00 - 5:00

Sun  - 12:00 - 5:00

No rehearsal on the following dates: 

Sun Feb 15 - Presidents Day 

Sun Apr 5 - Easter

Load In:

Fri Apr 10

Cue to Cue / Tech: 

Sat Apr 11 - Mon Apr 13

Dress Rehearsal;

Tue Apr 14 - Wed Apr 15

Shows: 

Thu Apr 16 - Opening Night 7:00pm 

Fri Apr 17 - Night Show 7:30pm 

Sat Apr 18 - Matinee 2:00pm

Sun Apr 19 - Matinee 2:00pm

Strike; 

Sun Apr 19 - after show closes

Principal duties include:

- Casting the production alongside the Director through auditions and callbacks; 

-Teaching and rehearsing music  to cast members. (Production will use pre-recorded tracks)

- Attending weekly production meetings via Zoom;

This is a paid position. Pay dependent on availability.
