Sunnyvale Community Players proudly presents Shrek Jr – a hilarious, heartwarming musical based on the beloved story of everyone’s favorite ogre.

Show Dates: February 20 – March 8, 2026
Run Time: 90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, his swamp is invaded by banished fairytale misfits cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad and is handed a task: rescue the feisty Princess Fiona to restore his swamp. Along the way, Shrek discovers that true love, friendship, and a few twists and turns make this a fairy tale unlike any other.
