After a sold-out limited run this summer, Claire Houghton Renoe returns to Live Oak with her tour-de-force performance of Every Brilliant Thing, a funny and poignant theatre piece about the lengths we will go to for those we love. A child writes a list of everything brilliant about the world for her mother, who struggles with depression, as reasons to continue living. The story chronicles her creation of the list, the forgetting and rediscovery of it as she grows into adulthood, and the difficult but worthy task of hope.
