But one who is completely forgetful, completely indifferent to his own happiness, is su-mahat, a very great personality. And those who are giving pleasure and enjoyment and happiness to Krishna at the cost of their own pleasure and happiness, are param-mahan, supremely great, incomparable, and all-worshipable. They are the gopīs.”
