Our beloved Srila Gurudeva, Nitya-lila Pravista Om Vishnupada Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja's 15th anniversary Tirobhava (disappearance) day is on Friday, Dec, 12th. I encourage everyone to have your individual meditations and puja on the tithi day, Friday, and then we will host a public festival on the next day, Saturday, Dec. 13th to facilitate and earlier program so more devotees can attend.

a spiritual master, the disciple must be
very cautious, or he may be cheated. Especially
in Kali-yuga, many pose as devotees or sādhus,
claiming to be pure, but as we say —
all that glitters is not gold. Śāstras
describe symptoms to recognize a genuine
guru and one should examine carefully before
accepting. After acceptance, one must be
extremely careful not to commit offenses
by disobeying the orders of such a guru.”
