Fwd: Marcelle Martin to speak at Winter Quarterly, Registration now open

Friends are invited to attend the Winter meeting of the College Park Quarterly Meeting on Saturday, January 15, 2022. We will be holding this meeting by Zoom. 

During the morning session Marcelle Martin will provide an Introduction to Faithfulness Groups. What are Faithfulness Groups? (see attachment for webpage links)  Participating in a faithfulness group is like having an ongoing clearness and support committee. Members provide mutual assistance for faithful, Spirit-led lives. In this online workshop session, Marcelle Martin will share the guidelines for faithfulness groups and help us practice skills that make these small groups a wonderful opportunity for spiritual intimacy and a long-term aid for faithful action.

The day's schedule:

8 to 8:45 Bible Sharing

9 to 9:45 Worship

10:00 to 10:45 business (Roll Call, Nominations, Archives report, Friends House report)

11 to 12:30 Marcelle Martin and Faithfulness Groups

12:30 to 2:30 Lunch and walks on your own

2:30 to 3:45  Worship sharing

4:00 to 5:00 Closing business and Worship

There will not be a separate Children's or Teen program, although teens, especially, would find Marcelle Martin's presentation relevant.
