Prayers for Salman Rushdie & those at Chautauqua, including Robin & Chris Mohr

Dear Friends --

You have probably heard the news of the attack on Salman Rushdie earlier today when he was about to give a lecture at the Chautauqua Institution (near Buffalo, New York). You may not know that Robin and Chris Mohr are there now as Friends of the Week at the Quaker House. They offered tea, coffee, prayer, and companionship on the porch at Quaker House, and later participated in an interfaith prayer vigil for Salman Rushdie and everyone affected by the violent attack. 

Let us hold them in our prayers from afar.
