First is the showing of the powerful film, “The Movement and the Madman” produced and directed by Robert Levering and Steve Talbot. It will be shown on PBS next Tuesday, March 28 at 9pm on all PBS stations across the country. It shows the power of the people – Nonviolent Movements - to stop Nixon’s plan to use nuclear weapons in North Vietnam. See the link below for more info about the film. Very highly recommended!! Fourth, for those who may not know, two and a half years ago I was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (cancer of the bone marrow and blood). I was originally told I might have only months to live, but with the love and prayers from friends around the world and good medical care and medicine, I am still here and grateful each day to be alive.
