Hope you may be able to join this vigil in Berkeley Jan 22 supporting the Treaty for the abolition of all nuclear weapons. It is tragic and immoral for the University of California to continue overseeing the Livermore and Los Alamos Nuclear Weapons labs which are building ever more nuclear weapons which could kill hundreds of millions of people!

Ecumenical Peace Institute (epicalc.org)  invites you to join us to ask UC to abide by the terms of

the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons which  entered into force last year.


The treaty prohibits state parties from developing, testing, producing, manufacturing, transferring, possessing, stockpiling, using or threatening to use nuclear weapons, or allowing nuclear weapons to be stationed on their territory. It also prohibits or inducing anyone to engage in any of these activities.
