Dear All,
Tomorrow is the final day to sign up for the bay area population
genomics meeting taking place in Davis on the 26th of May (as we need
to know numbers for the lunch and coffee breaks as well as posters). Signup here:
http://tinyurl.com/72wd9xr , click on the registration tab at the bottom.
We have a great lineup of six talks from Universities across the bay area (
http://gcbias.org/2012/05/14/bapg-schedule/).
Our talks span a range of topics from the origin of a selfing plant
species, to evidence that selection acts
genome-wide in Drosophila across seasons. Also the lunch and coffee
breaks (kindly sponsored by UC Davis PBGG and CPB) offers a great chance to hang
out with a great mix of PhD students, postdocs, and faculty drawn from
popgen groups from across the bay area.
Best wishes,
Alisa, Yaniv, Peter, Jeremy, and Graham
