Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a second to give you an important update on a little place in Fairfax called Gestalt Haus.

To make a long story short, we have been through Hell and back with the county health department and the country fire marshal.

They seem to think you need to put $60,000 in upgrades into an existing cafe if you want to pour beer out of taps.

After seemingly ENDLESS battles with both of these entities we, for the moment, have overcome.

We now have our taps back on, full time at Gestalt.  YESBRO!!!  I will be there three days a week Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from noon till 6pm.  As the days get longer I'll start up a Thursday night or Tuesday night ride out there.  Come see me if you're passing by!

Not having tap beer cost us a LOT of customers and business because people REALLY prefer tap beer over bottles.  We've been hanging on by our fingernails and now we've got ourselves a hole to dig out of.  So I'd really appreciate it if you would think of us when you're up that way for your beer quaffing needs.
