Sadly I will also be excluded from Mission.

While everyone else in my company here in Mountain View heads off to the
gym for a lunch workout I have been zooming down 237 to Ed Levin, speed
hiking to the 600, and getting flights anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes. I
toss the wing unfolded back into the van, and repack it that night at
home.
I'm usually back at the office pretty close to the time that everyone
else
gets back, so I haven't caught too much flak for long lunches yet.
I've done this
about 15 times so far. Sometimes I've had to politely flag a local
hiker to see
if they wouldn't mind watching my launch (all Ed Levin launches must
be observed
according to the site rules), and a few times I had to just bail
without flying
because no one was around. Not sure if anyone else is nuts enough to
do this on
their lunch break and works close enough, but it would be great to
have some company.

As a P2, most of the regulated sites around here are not available to
me, but I am
up for anything else, and I could definitely benefit from the
experience the rest
of you have here. I'm up for some scouting and retrieves as well, but
of course
most of all I want to fly :-) I have 14 hours total airtime so far,
mostly in Hong Kong,
Sand City, and last Saturday at the Dumps for the first time (also a
weekend with
Wally at Big Sur with 4 flights. I would definitely H&F Wild Cattle)
Looking forward
to lots more H&F this year!
