Fixing the group's email id and resending...

Hi Susmit,
In general, most people consider "Precise Elegant" to be the best board in the world. Some of us also consider the "Synco Bulldog" to be equally good if not better. Both the above two models are widely used in international tournaments and are of course, of very good quality. All other boards (including all other Synco models such as "Synco Champion" or "Synco Tournament" and all models of Surco) are decidedly second class compared to the elegant and bulldog. Hope this helps.

Hi,

I am from India and am planning to buy a carrom board in a few days
here in India itself. After researching the internet it seems to me
that boards from Synco, Surco or Precise are good ones. I am thinking
of the Jumbo board from any of these manufacturers. I have spoken to
dealers of Synco and Surco, but couldn't speak to Precise guys. I
found that Synco boards are priced higher than Surco ones including
delivery and all. I have also seen in forums that in some of their
older posts (around 2009) that Surco boards are not very good quality.
But otherwise I can see that people are recommending them too. I am
not sure which one to go for, Synco, Surco or Precise Elegant.

I want a suggestion on which manufacturer will be best to opt for
among these three.

Thanks in advance for your time and reply.

Precise Elegant is also the cheapest at about INR 3500 per board.

Thanks Sunil for your reply. When I was going through Precise's website I could see that they list their boards in two categories, viz. Models and Varieties. Under models they name the boards as CHAMPION, BULLDOG, JUMBO etc. and under Varieties they say ELEGANT, A-ONE, ROSY, DELUXE etc. While I understand that ELEGANT is the best one available from them (as it has Original English Birch Ply playing surface) I was wondering do they have all their models in ELEGANT variant. I mean if I want to buy their JUMBO model in ELEGANT variant is it available? And one more thing are JUMBO and BULLDOG models both equally good? Or one is better than the other, provided they both are in ELEGANT variant.
