Art Head: Up and Coming News

So there has been a slight pause in the effort of launching Art Head
due to the fact that I have decided to up and relocate to Minneapolis,
MN. (!!)

However, I am partnering with my pals at <A HREF="http://
www.artsandmedia.net">Independent Arts & Media</A> to explore ways in
which to build the infrastructure and community locally to launch Art
Head in my absence, as well as roll it out as a program in
Minneapolis! Very exciting.

And Speaking of Independent Arts & Media, the <A HREF="
http://www.artsandmedia.net/expo/#2007
">Eighth Annual Expo for the Artist and Musician</A> is happening next
month on September 15th.

The Expo is "an all-day extravaganza featuring more than 100 Bay Area
arts organizations, free workshops, performances, and hundreds of
local artists and musicians. Attendees can browse tables staffed by
local galleries, nonprofits, collectives and small businesses; present
their portfolios; and join in workshops on grant proposals,
censorship, arts marketing, underground art history, making a demo
tape and more."

There are also some events and workshops leading up to the event, one
of which is a panel discussion I will be participating in:
Sept. 12 @ CounterPulse: "Money for Art/Arts Funding Issues"

I encourage all of you to attend this great grassroots event. More
news as it develops!
