can you help me remember something Mark Pauly said?

specifically, the comment he made about how we should describe (something analogous to "whiz bang technology" or something like that)? what was the old sci fi Tv show reference he made? I'm desperately searching my memory, which, as always, is turning out to be a fruitless exercise.

Individual work (varies for everyone)

Does a number like 50 hours sound right?
