Hi guys

I have been in touch with lawyers at Duane Morris who say they can prepare that info for us. She said it'll take her about 5 hours of work and cost at most $3000.

I wanted to ask a) if this is ok? b) who should they send the letter of engagement.

Best regards

Seems a little steep. What do others think? She we get approval from Baiada first?

I will ask but can you give me some more details on exactly what we are getting for $3000?

Also what level attorney is this? For $600 an hour this should be a top level partner. Unless they are throwing on research costs in addition to attorney time.

Btw I don't know if we need to ask baiada - maybe just June since they have already handed over the $5000 and it's upto us how we use it. Or that's the impression I got?!

Includes research costs. But she said she knows where this info is so research shouldn't take that long

Before we ask June, let's go back and say that we're students, and there's no way we can spend more than $1000?  Ask them what they can do with it?  Can they answer just one question?  Can they give us a preliminary opinion which is not actually legal advice? And by the way, if the information is useful and the company we represent will want to move on it, there's likely to be a significant amount of business coming their way to make this work.

Thoughts?
