The team just met and realized that we have a conflict for the 19th.

Is there anyway we could do Thursday the 18th instead? Most have class until 1:30pm, so if you would like to meet in NJ, we could arrive by 2:30pm. Otherwise, if you'll be closer to campus, we could meet as early as 2pm.

We hope you are doing well. The team wanted to give you an update on where we currently stand in our workflow:

* Provider and Executive Interviews: We have conducted extensive interviews with senior hospital executives, primary care group executives, ACO executives and home healthcare executives. We have gained a deep understanding of how different facets of the healthcare system view the Transitionalist role and the relevance of the transition in the continuum of care
* Our interviewees include: the Chief Strategy Officer of a mid-sized academic medical center, the Medical Director of an ACO, the Chief Administrative Officer of a community hospital, the Executive Medical Director of a major operator of medical groups and physician networks, among others

* Implementation: We have visited the BAYADA Philadelphia office to better understand how this new model could fit into the current workflows

* Regulatory Environment: We met with Professor Robert Field from Drexel, an expert on health policy and public health law, to assess the regulatory environment. We are following up with other professors in advance of our meeting with a regulatory attorney

* Competitive Analysis: We are analyzing the competitive landscape and found that there may be an opportunity to partner with smaller health plans or with health plans that do not own a home care operation to engage in risk sharing

* Financial Analysis: We are building a high-level financial analysis to review incremental revenues and costs of a Transitionalist and the required amount of incremental patients to break-even.

In the next few weeks, we will be finishing our analysis and preparing our final deliverable to you. At this point, we would like to book a date to deliver our final presentation. Can you please give us your availability for the week of April 15th? From our perspective, Friday the 19th would be optimal, but we can be flexible if that doesn’t work for you.
