Hi Arthur,
It looks like the sf package should have functionality for this via the singleSide parameter in the st_buffer function: https://github.com/r-spatial/sf/issues/1001
Best,
Sam

Subject: [bay-delta-datascience] R mapping line offsets
EXTERNAL:
Hi all, I'm trying to find an efficient way of replicating the 'Symbology Offset Effect' you can do in ArcPro (see image) but in R? I'm trying to replicate the line offsets done for the map in the attached image, but I'm stubborn and want to code it, and haven't learned python yet. I'm thinking something along the lines of single sided buffer but haven't had much luck with that yet.
Thanks!
