Anyone used Microsoft Azure DevOps for code development?

Hello everyone,

I am curious if anyone has used Microsoft Azure DevOps for code project development. My understanding is it is like a combination of github, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Planner / Project Manager. Our modeling team is considering trialing this Microsoft platform for our groundwater model development at DWR. We are not sure how it compares to a pure github repo approach, which is what we're familiar with. So, I’m reaching out to other coders to see if anyone can share pros, cons, shortcomings, etc. of their experience as we sort out tool options for long-term project management.
