How far can a personal drone fly from its pilot?
How long can it fly for?
What kind of surface does it need to take off from? Does it need a flat surface?
What is the audio like? Can a drone hear, for instance, what someone is saying if it hoovers close enough. Would a person have to shout?
Are there quiet drones – do all Drones make a lot of noise when they hoover?
Can/does a pilot wear glasses so it can see what the drone sees?
Can it maneuver through trees?

Hi Ben ~Thanks so much for your answers!!The story line is - when a woman makes the choice to take her own life in the solitude of a forest, her quest is interrupted by the presence of a drone that refuses to leave her. What I'm looking for is a drone that would be able to fly to where the pilot wouldn't be in the general area (close but not close enough to be in the immediate vicinity of the woman). What type of drone would be able to fly that far and be quiet enough for her to talk to it? I could have it land if noise would be an issue.Again, thanks for your insights.Jennifer

Your next set of questions should include something of the set of:- What permits/licenses/rules will I have to abide by for making a film that is considered a commercial use of a sUAS (small unmanned aerial system)?- where would I be able to legally go to produce this film, since CA state parks, certain regional parks (EBRPD) and more, specifically have outlawed any motorized aircraft?
And so on.
