Pixhawk Wind Readout Direction and Velocity from Drone

I am looking to get a wind readout from my drone. It is important to know that the wind direction and velocity can be very different from the surface. If I have GPS groundspeed how can I then use the pix data to provide a wind readout (Example 267 degrees at 13 mph). Any thoughts?

This is calculated by the autopilot by the Wind Estimator. Just query that variable:
