The United States is strong and great because it treats its veterans properly and is forever grateful and remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives in the war. However, the sacrifices and contributions of American soldiers in the Pacific war zone of World War II are being ruthlessly betrayed and undermined by the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) who is occupying Taiwan and the collaborators of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After WW-II the vast majority of Taiwanese people will never forget the freedom, democracy and prosperity that the United States has brought to Taiwanese people. However, Taiwanese people have not forgotten the martial law, elite massacre, white terror and brainwashing in Taiwan by Chiang Kai-shek, his son and the KMT from 1945 to 1991 cause many Taiwanese people are still not awake today. Most freedom- and democracy-loving countries around the world believe that the UN2758 Resolution does not involve Taiwan's sovereignty. In order to determine Taiwan's status, the United States should consider the long-term security and stability of Taiwan, East Asia, and the Western Pacific and prevent the expansion of the Chinese Communist Party and take necessary measures. Taiwan State or Taiwan Nation
In World War II, the U.S. military sacrificed more than 120,000 officers and soldiers in the Pacific war zone and provided huge resources that are difficult to estimate. China made no contribution to this war zone. After the war, Japan surrendered, but China (ROC) occupied Taiwan (Taiwan and Penghu) which belong to the Pacific war zone. The "Peace Treaty with Japan" agreed in San Francisco came into effect in 1952. Japan gave up Taiwan's sovereignty and the United States became Taiwan's principal occupying Power. Therefore, the 1971 United Nations Resolution 2758 did not mention the issue of Taiwan's sovereignty. The U.S. domestic public law "Taiwan Relations Act" (1979) defines Taiwan as Taiwan's main island and surrounding islands, the Penghu Islands, and the natural persons and legal persons registered on these islands. 1982 President Reagan's Memorandum "Six Assurances" item 5: The United States has not altered its position regarding the sovereignty over Taiwan.
The U.S. Domestic Public Law TAIPEI Act (2019) SEC. 2 (a) (3) Taiwan is a free, democratic, and prosperous nation of 23,000,000 people and an important contributor to peace and stability around the world. However, Taiwan is still ruled by the ROC government-in-exile (occupied Taiwan since 1945) in the name of ROC and the constitution (territory includes PRC, Mongolia, and Taiwan). In the past decades, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has stepped up its infiltration into Taiwan's civil society, military, and government, and has instructed pro-unification political parties Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) and Taiwan People Party (TPP) to significantly delete national defense and anti-communist administrative budgets in the Legislative Yuan. The CCP also conducts almost daily military exercises in the sea and airspace surrounding Taiwan to intimidate the military, civilians, and government of the Taiwan authorities.
After the ROC government fled to Taiwan in 1950, Taiwan was still trapped in the vortex of war between the PRC and ROC for decades. Now that the United Nations has expelled representatives of the ROC, in order to prevent the CCP from thinking that it is legal to inherit ROC and occupy Taiwan and create a fait accompli, the United States should allow the people of Taiwan to vote in a referendum to make Taiwan and Penghu a state of the United States or an independent sovereign nation. Repatriate the ROC government-in-exile and its core political party (KMT) to its remaining territories of Kinmen and Matsu and reorganize the ROC occupation forces of Taiwan-born Taiwanese soldiers into the Taiwan National Defense Force to maintain the security and stability of the Taiwan Strait and Bashi Channel.
