That is precisely it Paul, you hit the nail on the head.
Notice how the local area (denton) paper prints that one of the local candidates is accused of fraud.
However, the click bait posting of the rag peddlar i.e. Populist Press uses the term "Big Dem" which anyone from the local
area would laugh at, knowing it is false.
However, the rag peddlar uses the click bait because he knows that there is always a sucker out there who is looking for something that fits his agenda and will easily eat it up and repost it on another forum.
As Barnum said, there is one born every minute.
But to returm to KC's comment. KC, I have no problem that fraud is fraud. And I always will let the chips fall where they may.
However, I hope that you do know the difference between an accusation of fraud and actual fraud, right? LOL
In case anyone cares to recall, here is something from the past which talks about 61 accusatons of voter fraud in the past
election, and 60 of them did not pass the test.

As far as I know USA Today has no party leanings.
As for Carrollton, I am curious how one can get 109 accusations. Did he get 109 relatives to vote or what?

I do think that BATA is getting to be a gossip paradise.

These two articles exemplify how media outlets continue to use descriptive adjectives that stereotype an entity’s identity. Have you noticed how the writer purposely did not disclose that this person identifies and belongs to the Democrat Party? If they changed the headline to read, “Former Democrat Carrollton Mayoral Candidate indicted on 109 felony voter fraud charges”, the Democrats would be on fire! The Democratic Party would have to take responsibility for such actions. This way, the Democrats continue to be the ideal teacher’s pet, prodigy child that only does right. <— Democrats = right, haha. By removing the political party in which this former Carrollton mayoral candidate identifies with, the writer prevents subsequent criticism of the political party and all that it stands for, in this case - the Democratic Party.
Regardless, voter fraud happens everywhere. It doesn’t matter if the area/demographics are more left-wing or right-wing. Ultimately, if Carrollton is full of Republicans like Mr. Keating states, then its even more paramount and useful for people like Mr. Zul Mir Mohamed, a Democratic candidate, to increase the Democratic votes. It is not unheard of for a candidate of the opposite party to win in a locale that always votes and elects political candidates of one party. Money is magic and BGY works!
