我看到愛因斯坦的這三句話，最初也聯想到猶太人大屠殺 Holocaust 慘況，也想到，我若問他對這個「對猶太人屠殺會不會報復? 寬恕? 不顧?」的問題，我會自覺無聊。

我的理解是，愛因斯坦的這三句話，不言可喻，只涉及人間日常相處 human decency 的部分。假如愛因斯坦談這三句話是在陳述種族屠殺的深仇大恨， 而如是表態，那他現在應該已經與撒旦同囚於但丁的九層地獄 （Dante's Inferno）無誤。
